Hairy Indigo is a coarse legume that
can grow to five feet tall and can be grown on dryer lands of low fertility as
are many
legumes. Indigo is used in forage mixes and as ground cover for wildlife. Plant in the early
spring and at the rate of 10 12 lb. per acre. Indigo is one on the legumes that is
nematode resistant as well as a excellent land builder.
